All the businesses have to be vetted and approved by Trading Standards to ensure that they operate in a legal, honest and fair way.
JDB - Successful Grant Application
In July 2010 we were successful in our application for a micro-business development grant. Because our business falls within the Loddon and Eversley Heritage area, we were able to apply for a grant towards plant and machinery to improve our business.
The funding comes from the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) which in turn has been funded by the EU and DEFRA. We used the grant money to help buy a new tractor and a excavator mounted log splitter.

Trade stands
Look out for our trade stand at this year's Swallowfield Show being held on August 26th & 27th. We will be displaying photos of our work, some of the machinery we use and samples of logs/firewood & garden mulch/woodchip. It's normally a very busy show, pulling in the crowds on both the Saturday and Sunday with something for everyone. Arena events, craft tent, dog show, funfair etc..
